| First and foremost, what we can offer you is space. Space to collect your thoughts and ideas, space to reflect—and, of course, space to write. As writers ourselves we know that it can be hard to concentrate on the task of writing with your usual life around you. So many distractions—shopping, cleaning, cooking, washing, talking to the family …. Here we’ll take care of that. You’ll have a large room with a comfy double bed, and a desk to write at. We’ll prepare breakfast (could be a traditional Welsh breakfast, or a lighter option if you prefer), we’ll set out lunch for you to take to your room if you’d like, and we’ll prepare dinner for you to take with us and any other guests. Anne loves cooking and good food, and has been developing menu ideas to make the most of fresh local produce and traditional recipes from Wales and England while ensuring good healthy eating principles. Laundry can be taken care of. Errands can be dealt with. We have wi-fi broadband in the house for communication with the outside world. We have a television in each guest room and DVD players (and a whole range of DVDs to watch). We have books. We even have a cat, who might condescend to let you stroke her. We can also take you around and show you our favourite places, or help you discover your own. All you have to do is write! |
